Prezi is a presentation tool that is here to replace Power Point. I am experimenting with it and here is a small example of what you can do with it.

GoPro 360: Another Step Forward in Technology

We have all seen 360 pictures where we can click and drag around to see what is on the other side of the image. What about the same with videos? Well, GoPro is working on it. They created a mount where you can add 6 GoPros and go for it. I'm not sure yet how they do the editing to put the images together but the result is amazing. I guess the next step will be a 6 way camera instead of 6 GoPros. Check it out bellow. (higher resolution stream reduces speed)

Don't forget to click the video while playing and move it around

Soyuz undocking, reentry and landing explained

It is fascinating how we have been able to discover more and more of the Universe. Astronomy is something that fascinates me and many people.

I have been curious about how Astronauts come back to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS). Today I found a video that explains the process and it is amazing to watch. Here is the video that explains the Soyuz capsule undocking, reentry and landing. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Neptune Duo: Wrist Smartphone or Watchphone

I was presented today (thanks Andy) with a new concept coming out by the end of the this year (2015).

I really like my smartwatch but it is far from being perfect. It is just the start of something that can be great, and Neptune Duo might be the next big step to get it closer to perfection.

Imagine a smartwatch that is actually your Android phone. It actually comes with Android 5 (Lollipop) and you can pre-order it now at http://www.getneptune.com/

Will.I.Am showcased his watchphone not long ago called i.amPULS and it is available from http://www.puls.com/ for 399 dollars. So, the idea of a smartwatch that can make calls is not new but Neptune Duo is the first Android watchphone. (that I know of)

But wait, there is more...

What makes this watchphone even better is that you can actually have a smartphone like device that you can pair with the watch and use it as a normal smartphone. This device is basically a screen with a camera, it doesn't hold any information, everything is done via the watch, you can even use the screen of a friend.

I think it is a great concept. I'm not going to be ordering one just yet but it can be the start of something great.

Moto What?

You might be surprised to find out that a Motorola is probably the best phone you can buy at the moment. That's right, a Motorola.

Many changes have been happening to Motorola. Google bought it and then Lenovo got it from Google and I don't even care who owns it by now, but the reality is that they are doing a great job. (It is Lenovo by the way)

You have two amazing options at the moment from Motorola. If you have some money and are thinking about a Samsung Galaxy S5 or even the more expensive iPhone, take a look at the Motorola Moto X, you might be surprised by it and depending on where you buy it, you might even save some money. (maybe you can spend the difference on a smartwatch)

In reality Stuff Magazine just put the Motorola Moto X as the number 1 smartphone to buy in the latest issue.

If you are more on a budget but would like to have a top spec smartphone, have a look at the Motorola Moto G. It might not take the same quality pictures as the Samsung S5 but all the other specs are very close, if not the same. The best part? You will be spending around £150 on it instead of over the double of that. By the way, on the Stuff top 10 best smarphones the Motorola Moto G is in the 10th place, we are talking only one down from the Samsung Galaxy S5. I love my S5 but if I broke it and had to pay for a new one I probably wouldn't be replacing it with another S5.

In technology things change very quick, don't get stuck in the past theories and think that what was the best in 2005 is still the best. Brands get worst, brands get better. I loved my iPhone 3G and no question it was the best phone you could have at the time it came out, does it mean iPhones are and will always be the best phones on the market? If so, why aren't you still using a Nokia? They were great in the past. (if you are actually using a Nokia, good for you, they are still great phones and at good prices, shame they don't do Android phones but Microsoft has come a long way lately, maybe with windows 10 I will be here telling everyone to drop Androids and buy Windows phones)

Check out Stuff Magazine top 10 Smartphones of the moment.
